Homestead Country Music Club has always been active in promoting young musicians entering the country music ‘scene’.
Moving outwards from involvement with only club member families, in 2007 Homestead held its inaugural ‘Youth Talent Expo’ to host an event attracting young musicians from Queensland’s entire south eastern corner.
This event has become a successful and established part of our annual calendar, being held at the beginning of August and going from strength to strength each year.
Many previous contestants have now become ‘seniors’, and quite a few have gone on to various degrees of success in the club scene and the music industry.
