HOMESTEAD EXPO COMING 7th August 2021
Youth Country Music Talent Expo
On the first Saturday in August each year, Homestead hosts a one-day junior festival – ‘Homestead Youth Talent Expo’.
The event attracts entrants from all over Queensland and interstate. Historically, contestants 17 years of age or under have vied for some excellent awards and cash prizes. For the 2021 Expo only, we are expanding the entry criteria to 18 years of age due to the cancellation of last year’s Expo.
To the overall Champion, Homestead offers a sponsorship to the CMAA (Country Music Association Australia) Academy which is held in Tamworth in July of every year. This sponsorship is invaluable to the recipient and focuses on different styles within the broad definition of Country Music today. This course runs for eight days and includes a business course for a parent / guardian.
The Expo also features a new pre-judged song writing section judged by industry professionals. The winner of this section will win a professional single recording, production, and release package provided by Neat FreQ Productions, Moko Productions, CRS Publicity and other industry professionals to bring your song to life and release it to radio
Make sure you get your entries in early, as the 2021 Homestead Expo is one not to be missed.
