New for 2022, we have introduced a song writing category which will be judged by some of Australia’s best songwriters. This section will be pre-judged and is open to anyone across Australia, even if you can’t attend our Expo on the day.
To Enter
To enter this section, head to the ‘Expo Registration’ page, and enter all your details, and then submit payment for the sections you entered (one if you’re just entering songwriting). From here, you will receive a confirmation email that will redirect you back here!
All that’s left is to send an email to homesteadyouthexpo@outlook.com with the following attached.
- Subject line “Songwriting Entry 2022 [Name]”
- Lyric sheet “Songwriting Entry 2022 [Song title]”
- Mp3* “Songwriting Entry 2021 [Song title]”
*Please note, no fully produced recordings will be accepted.
**Please note; Song must be written solely by the entrant, or co-written with another 17 or under, writer deemed amateur or semi-professional. (See rule #2 for definition). Any songs co-written with a professional writer will be scratched from the section.
Please do NOT include your name on the lyric sheet, or mp3, as the judging will take place anonymously.
